Powerhouse Stew


¾ lb. ground turkey breast

1 package beef liver

¾ cup kale or spinach

1 sweet potato (shredded)

½ cup lentils

To prepare the lentils, let them sit in water overnight.  Drain and add to boiling water.  Boil lentils in 1 ½ to 2 cups water for at least 30-45 minutes.  As lentils are cooking, puree the beef liver in food processor.  In separate pot, brown turkey breast over medium heat and add pureed liver.  Cook turkey and liver together stirring occasionally.  Five minutes before the lentils are done, add the kale or spinach, and shredded sweet potato.  Combine all ingredients together.
